Project 3 - Animations.

The last project was a 3D video of minimum 60 sec, animated with 3ds max and other software.

Since it is a follow up of my previous project the diamond building. The process for the video is not that much, and also because I kept on forgetting to press the Print screen button every time i experimented or did something. sorry for that. However, below are some of my main stages. 

Some Stages : 

The exterior of the building should be shown in the video, so context around is a must to be able to  bring in  the true atmosphere around the building . The picture above shows the mountain and water created. I used soft selection, then the push and pull functions. 

I also make used of some basic commands learnt earlier to create  a bride connecting to the building . And assign some adequate materials with it.

Before, setting the camera, i Drew the path i want it to follow and show . The above picture demonstrate the path i made from the start of the bridge toward the building and around it. The path was made using line. Then camera was added and the path constrain was chosen to assigned it. Later then, using keyframe, i switched the views each time to make it smoother and to show what is needed. 

This one was a failure ...  I experimented a human walking. My  idea was to make the bride walk towards the man . After   putting the biped in the figure and connect the node... some part of the woman was still stuck when she move. so i give up with that idea, since im not that good in it.  but nice try though. 

After assigning the camera, I  create a sphere around my model to  make the sky move.
The idea is to apply bitmap to it ( sky picture ) then using keyframe .. rotate the sphere , thus creating a moving sky .

RENDERING time !!!
This was the most painful and boring time ever.
I waited for 23 hours just for the exterior part and it was only 10 sec of my video ....
After waiting for so long , i watched it and found out some error such as the sky, and some shadows... but  unfortunately due to lack of time and lack of power  for my laptop, i didnt render again :/

After that, i rendered the other parts of the video, assigning the correct number of frame and it took me more than 2 days non stop to reder everything.
The compilation was done using i-movie and the most suitable song was chosen.

My aim was to tell a story while focusing on the building..
