First, I started with a simple sphere within a box of 4m cubic
I played with the form by extruding the polygons
Then, I used cylinder to make the cheeks, using bevel
Then, I used shere again to make the eyes of the sculpture.
Using bevel and extrude, and i played with the shape.
I also played with the paint deformation ( pull/ Push ) commands to make the grooves.
The chin of the frog is done by drawing the outline using line.
Then move the vertex.
I create line inside the chin outline
Then go on modifier, choose surface.
The body also is made using a single sphere
I used scale and rotation to deform the shape
For the tongue, I drew the shape i want first, then make a copy of it and use u- loft to connect
The legs were done by modifying cylinders.
Then i put a cone under the cylinder.
Using bridge to connect the borders
BRIDGE!! :D
The fingers, I drew the shape using line, then a circle... put it like perpendicular to each other
Then go to extrude along spline line.
- Edit the edges
Connecting the sphere.
Bridge again
The back leg, is made by modifying a sphere
Again, I drew the shape of the leg, then extrude along spline and play with the edges and borders
This is the result, after extruding along spline
Then i did the same thing as the previous steps, connecting the fingers to the feet.
Here, is how the frog look like when all the above steps are done.
The base, I choose to make a leaf, so i drew the shape , create lines, then play with vertex
surface is to be applied after the tracing of the leaf.
Voila !!!! the sculpture is almost done.
This is the effect of turbosmooth
To make it more abstract, I included butterfly wings to it.
So i drew a plane, then put image using bitmap
tracing of the wings is then done
Again play with the basic commands to make it as u wish
Just select all when done then look for surface.
So, This is the sculpture that i created... Enjoy
I got my inspirations by looking at a frog is a pet exhibition in taylors
Then, using my creativity i made it abstract.
